BMW Explorer, AutoHex 2, MaxisysPro, Abrites Original AVDI. I can read and write coding with no issues. The interface shouldn't matter because all of those do online coding and manual offline coding as well. I drive defective, try to dismount and check the optical sensors in it Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Idrive has been replaced.
1. active steering fault, light showing on the dash and iDrive. 2. check voltage of battery 12.6v with out running engine. 3. alternator is charging at 13.9v ish. 4. all fuses checked. 5. steering wheel angel sensor cleaned (not dirty anyway)
In my case the TCU (bluetooth module) can make my radio (and chimes) go silent. But in my case iDrive gets really slow. Some cheap diagnosis can be: 1.- iDrive reset. 2.-. Power reset (disconnect battery for a while, typically more than 20 mins). 3.-. Check your battery charge.
This experience has happened 3-4 times so far: I'm navigating through the I-Drive menus when suddenly the I-Drive knob starts freaking out. I pull my hands away from the knob and it keeps spinning out of control. It actually sounds like it's speeding up, then slowing down, then speeding up, meanwhile it makes loud revving sounds.
thanks for any advise or help. Try below to re initializeRemote Key Re-Initialize - You will have to initialize all keys in sequence at the same time.-. Get in and "close all doors"- Turn ignition on & off quickly (no more than 5 seconds) to start the process.

The car had quite a few issues, mostly cosmetic which I have rectified and some electrical that I have not. The exact issue is as follows. iDrive knob does nothing.
