The 2021 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls are the newest edition in the premium offering from Titleist that has reigned supreme as the most popular bal
For me, the Tour Speed held greens better. I've already decided on the X for 2021, but in a separate comparison of AVX to the 2019 V, I preferred the V to AVX around the greens as well. Left Dash started as a CPO model (Custom Performance Option) on the PGA Tour. While the majority of players on the worldwide professional tours fit into Pro V1 and Pro V1x, CPOs are Titleist
The Pro V1 offers a complete combination of speed, spin and feel, and will be the best fit for the majority of golfers. It flies a little lower than the Pro V1x, with a penetrating trajectory and a very soft feel. The Pro V1x has a fast, high flight and provides spin for the golfer at the times where they want it most.
The Titleist Pro V1 is a higher compression golf ball than the AVX. This means the golfers with higher swing speed would find the Pro V1 to be an ideal option. The very high swing speed players will even want to consider the Pro V1x. Mid swing speed golfers looking for a bit more carry distance are going to find the AVX to likely be a better
The Pro V1 and Pro V1x have greatly improved all around preformance including more distance off the tee, bite around the greens and improved cover durability; Often times when I find a Pro V1 they are still in great condition because of the quality and toughness that they have. Terrific Golf Ball that cuts thru the wind like a Surgical Knife.
